End of Year Updates

We want to thank and congratulate our graduating class of 2018!  Graduates will be attending college (2 & 4 year), entering apprenticeship and technical programs, participating in service organizations, and entering the military or workforce as they transition to the next phase of their lives. The Graham School is proud of their journey and excited for their futures.

Internally our school is going to be seeing some changes next year both in schedule, as noted in our earlier letter home regarding block scheduling, as well as in roles with personnel at Graham.  There will be new staff to welcome to our school as always and some staff shifting in roles for next year as well.

  • Evan Rulong will be moving from his post as TGS Dean of Academics to a position driving The Graham Family of Schools’ work in Career Technical Education.  This is an expanding field statewide and we will be growing experiential opportunities for students in career areas where jobs are for 21st century work. We believe this to be of great import for both our high schools, in particular, and also for GEMS

Leadership at TGS has evolved into a few new roles as well as some individuals continuing their leadership responsibilities.

  • Amy Vickroy will transition from the role of Dean of Students to that of Dean of Academics.  Myra Molnar will serve as Dean of Curriculum and Instruction. Both have been a part of TGFS for several years and we are looking forward to their leadership.  Both Amy and Myra have extensive experience in the high school classroom and will continue to guide our school as it deepens its work with EL Education.

  • Sarai Correa will be serving as Assistant Dean of Students, particularly working with our students in need of extra support to help get them back on track.  She will likely spend a bit of time at TCS as well as TGS.

  • Jeanne Weinberg will remain in her role as Director of School Culture-- dedicated to continued implementation of Restorative Practices - - experienced in community building as well as behavior issues and conflict resolution.

We look forward to a healthy and happy summer for you all and an eager return to school in the fall!  Look for more information throughout the summer about the upcoming school year.

Thank you and take care,

Evan Rulong & Amy Vickroy, Deans
