We hope that you are enjoying your summer vacation and share in our excitement as we welcome you to a wonderful new year at The Charles School at Ohio Dominican University (TCS@ODU). We are looking forward to seeing students and families at the
Returning Family Open House on Monday, August 21st from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at TCS.
Open House is an important time for us to get together, meet other families and staff members, learn about new policies and procedures, get in touch with available opportunities and resources, turn in enrollment paperwork, pay school fees, get your student’s schedule, and eat some ice cream.
Please note that your student’s schedule will not be released until we have received:
We would strongly encourage you to complete the Free and Reduced Meal application. This is available on our website, www.TheCharlesSchool.org or Click here to print and complete, or you can request a paper form at the front desk. In our School Store you can pay the Student fee, purchase a TCS Parking Pass (additional form required), or add money to your students Breakfast/Lunch balance account. Finally, please be aware that we continue to work on the school’s Master Schedule throughout the summer, and while class selections should not change after our Family Open House, the class period and teacher could change as we balance class sizes.
The first day for the entire school is Wednesday, August 23, 2023 and will start at 7:45am.
Open House is central to starting the school year off well, both academically and socially. We ask that you make every effort to participate. You will be assisting us in our endeavor to provide the best possible educational experience for all of the students at TCS. We are looking forward to working with each of you and can’t wait to get the new year started!
