School Fee, Proof of Residency and Food Service Info!

PROOF OF RESIDENCY
In addition to the Registration Packet, we are mandated by the Ohio Department of Education to obtain a new proof of residency every school year. This may be a copy of a utility bill or bank statement (dated on or after July 1, 2022). Please e-mail or mail in your proof of residency to [email protected] or 3950 Indianola Ave Columbus, OH 43214. It must be submitted on or before the first day of school.
ANNUAL SCHOOL FEE
We ask our families to help with expenses by making an annual school contribution of $35.00. You may pay with credit card, cash, check or money order in person or by mail. You may also pay with a credit card online via the TGS School Store.

FREE & REDUCED SCHOOL MEALS APPLICATION
The USDA will not be extending the pandemic related food service program waivers for the 2022-23 school year. This program has allowed The Graham Family of Schools and other school districts to provide free lunches and breakfasts to all students since the spring of 2020. All families should fill out a Free & Reduced School Meals Application to see if they qualify for free or reduced meal pricing. Please complete the application and return it to the front office as soon as possible. Click here to print and complete the application.

TGS Student Expectations for Success

Summary
  • Success for students requires them uphold our expectations for phones, classroom behavior and timely and continuous presence in class.
  • Students need to bring computers to school charged daily
  • Covid guidance at TGS reflects CDC and ODH guidance; appropriate mask wearing and vaccination are our strongest defenses against Covid-19.
  • Please be prepared should we need to move temporarily to online learning.

Dear TGS Students and Families,
Welcome back! We hope that you had a restful and restoring winter break. At Graham we strive to grow strong relationships in our school community. We know that a supportive educational environment provides our students with greater academic success, undermines inequities, strengthens insulating factors against anxiety and depression and empowers our students to shape the futures they desire. For learning spaces to be successful, students need to be in them. For students to master content, they need to engage in the work. For students and staff to support each other and to strengthen classroom cultures, everyone must bring respect and empathy to TGS on a daily basis.

To this end we would like to reiterate expectations that we lifted up to you in December. Click MORE+.

Statement Recognizing Juneteenth Federal Holiday

The Graham Family of Schools (The Graham School, The Charles School, and Graham Elementary and Middle School) joins in solidarity in recognizing the long overdue new federal holiday of Juneteenth!  This is an important new holiday recognizing the day that the last slaves were freed in the U.S.  Since this was newly minted into law within the past 24 hours, we are trying to do our best to recognize the holiday while upholding our obligation to you and your student to continue to educate them in summer school and host normal school activities.  This year we plan to maintain our open status and will not change the school day for Friday, June 18, 2021 (when many federal and state agencies are celebrating).  We plan to integrate Juneteenth into our future academic calendars and celebrations.  At this time, if you and your student wish to observe this holiday, this will not count against them for attendance for June 18, 2021.  If you have questions, please direct them to the office at the respective school.

TGS Updated Mask Policy

As you may know, the Centers for Disease Control recently revised their recommendations around mask guidance for individuals who are fully vaccinated "except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance." In Ohio the mask mandate for schools stays in effect until June 2, after which it is up to the schools to determine a policy. The Graham School  will require students, staff, and visitors to wear masks through August 1, at which point we will re-evaluate our policy based on available data, information, and guidance.
Thank you for your continued support and efforts in keeping our TGS community safe.
TGS Deans; Amy Vickroy, Sarai Correa, RJ Larry
